When tollers were finally recognized by the AKC in 2003 Roy was the first toller to earn his Master Hunter title at nine years old and he earned his AKC conformation championship in short order at about the same time. Roy also earned the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club (USA) Working Certificate Excellent title. He shows off his field skills in the NSDTRC(USA) published DVD "The Toller", which is used by judges and fanciers alike to view excellent examples of tollers.

Roy was hunted over; duck and upland. To quote Sue, “He was a fantastic upland dog!”

Roy has numerous offspring titled in field, obedience, fly ball, agility and conformation; many in multiple venues. Roy clearly has passed his bidabilty, drive and temperament to succeed onto his offspring!

Both Roy and Tikka are triple registered; with the AKC, CKC and UKC. Therefore, registration of the puppies will be a snap no matter if they live in Canada, the USA or overseas.

Roy was bred and owned by Sue Dorscheid of Springvale Kennels.

Please see Tikka’s
webpage for more information about her, her accomplishments and a complete list of her health clearances.
I expect high energy, intelligent pups with the capability to work in any venue and
be successful in the show ring as their parents are.

They will need to be kept busy and worked in some kind of dog sport on a regular basis or live in a home that is DEDICATED to keeping up with their high energy level and challenging them mentally on a daily basis.

Tollers do not make good lawn ornaments nor will you be happy with a bored toller.

If you feel that a puppy from this breeding may be the right toller for you, please read my
Breeding Policy page.

Then feel free to contact me by phone, 604-824-6757 or email and we can talk Tollers!

Regards,
Linda

He achieved his Hunting Retriever Championship title which is equal to an AKC or CKC Master Hunter title. He also earned his UKC Utility title in the obedience ring.

Sue also brought Roy to Canada to play. He earned his CKC conformation, Working Certificate Excellent and Companion Dog obedience titles.

Roy's and Tikka's  achievements speak for themselves!

They have achieved exceptionally in the field, obedience and show rings, proving they have the great temperaments that must  go along with the ability to compete at these levels. In addition with such depth and breadth on both sides of the pedigree, I guess it’s understandable why I am thrilled about this combination!

The plan is to keep a pup to add to our family.
