| Tikka (tea-ka) is the new girl in the house! She is from our Worf x Trio litter. Tikka is enjoying bossing her mother, Trio, around and soaking up all the information she needs to be another versatile toller. |

| Tikka isn't just a beautiful toller. She hunts ducks too! Tikka easily earned her Junior Hunter Title, in two weekends of tests, at just a few days over 9 months old! Hard running both going and coming, with a deep natural hold of the duck, Tikka nailed her marks, and showed a lot of courage on a tricky water, land, water, series. Tikka earned her Working Certificate on July 12, 2008. What a ride this pup of mine is taking me on! Of course, she is breeder/owner/trained/handled in ALL venues. |

| Tikka "stacked" up 5 Championship Points her first two days in the show ring at just 6 months of age! Taking all available points both days,Tikka was awarded Winners, Best Puppy in Breed and Best of Opposite Sex her first day in the show ring. The following day she was again awarded Winners, Best Puppy in Breed and then Best of Breed over 9 class females and a Specials Male! She added another 3 points two weeks later, taking all available points again, going Winners, Best Puppy and Best Opposite Sex. Tikka has been the lone entry in the Junior Puppy Female Class for all her points with the entries ranging from 5 to 9 females. Her third weekend in the ring, a few days shy of 8 months old, Tikka was awarded Best Puppy In Group by judge, Denise Cornelssen! She had 8 Championship points and a Best Puppy In Group win in just three weekends of showing! Tikka has been earning some cash towards her keep too! Winning 1st. Place in the Junior Female Puppy Sweepstakes over an entry of 21 other pups at an all-breed show! She has placed 2nd in her class in a previous Sweepstakes also. Her fourth weekend out showing, Tikka finished her Championship, at 9 1/2 months old, with another 3 point win going Winners Female, Best Opposite Sex and Best Puppy in Breed. Tikka earned her third Best Puppy In Sporting Group on June 29, 2008 AND her fourth Best Puppy In Sporting Group on July 26, 2008. |

May 2008 - at just 9 1/2 months old Tikka wins Best Puppy in Show at the Auld Lang Syne Association (all-breed) Show in Chilliwack, B.C. under Canadian judge Darle Heck, after being awarded Best Puppy in Sporting Group by judge Hassi Assenmacher-Feyel from Germany! TIKKA WINS BEST PUPPY IN SPECIALTY SHOW July 19, 2008 - Tikka is awarded BEST PUPPY IN SPECIALTY SHOW, at the NOVA SCOTIA DUCK TOLLING RETRIEVER CLUB OF CANADA B.C. REGIONAL SPECIALTY SHOW by judge Mr. Doug Johnson. |

| Tikka enjoyed her first season duck hunting immensely! After taking her out with mom, Trio, Tikka caught on within one hunt that the flying things in the sky were ducks and she was going to retrieve them! Her absolute disappointment when we missed our shot became evident all to soon! |

| March 22, 2009 - Tikka earns her first qualifying score towards her COMPANION DOG title.
May 15, 2009 - Tikka and I attend the NSDTRC of Canada Specialty in Kitchener Ont. and she earns her WORKING CERTIFICATE INTERMEDIATE TITLE! May 16, 2009 – Tikka earns another qualifying score towards her COMPANION DOG with a 2nd in Novice and score of 193, also at the Specialty. May 17, 2009 - Again at the Specialty, in an entry of over a 130 tollers, Tikka makes the first cut in the breed ring and then places 4th in a very competitive GUN DOG class. Although not the eventual winner, this placing, along with her success in both the field and obedience ring, while at the Specialty, made Tikka one of only two dogs who qualified for the 2009 FAIR DINKUM TOLLER AWARD! June 7, 2009 - Tikka wins HIGH IN CLASS in the obedience ring with a score of 197 out of 200! This was her third Q, going three for three, so she has now earned her COMPANION DOG TITLE. Tikka has followed in her sire and dam's paw prints. They have all shown true toller versatility by titling in the conformation ring, obedience ring and in the field. All have been awarded the much coveted NOVA SCOTIA DUCK TOLLING RETRIEVER CLUB OF CANADA DOBIRSTEIN AWARD! August 22, 2009 - Tikka passes and titles in two back-to-back Working Certificate Excellent tests at the BC All Retriever Club tests. September 19, 2009 - Tikka earns her first SENIOR HUNTER pass! Tikka is taking time off from the field for motherhood. We've missed a whole season of training and tests...which just about killed me... but have a couple of really nice puppies from her and Josh, HIT CH Redadict Road Runner MH WCX CDX, US WCI. |

| Tikka gets back into field training after the puppies go home in mid August. She passed two Hunting Retriever Club SEASONED tests a week later. September 11 - Tikka earns her second SENIOR HUNTER QUALIFING SCORE October 2 & 3 - Tikka qulifies both days earning her SENIOR HUNTER TITLE!! |
| Tikka whelped her second litter in March 2011. The sire was CH Seabright's Start Me Up MH WCX NSDTR WC. Then it was back into training for the field and obedience ring. Training for MASTER HUNTER is coming along well...in the mean time... June – August 2011, Tikka earns her COMPANION DOG EXCELLENT obedience title in 3 consecutive trials earning HIGH IN CLASS every time! While we train for Utility we will continue to play in the Open ring. Currently Tikka has qualified in 12 straight Open trials with 11 HIGH IN CLASS placements and solid scores in the 190’s! I just find this amazing considering Tikka and I spend very little time training for obedience since field work is our first love. It certainly shows what a biddable girl Tikka is! |
