HUNTING ADVENTURES

Tikka watches the sky

We can be found the majority of days field training, getting ready for an up-coming test or for the next hunting season. Our duck hunting season runs from October to January, during which we hunt five or more days a week.

First pheasant of the season

We also have a six week window of pheasant hunting. We are extremely fortunate that we have access to numerous training grounds and duck fields within a short drive of our home, living where we do in the Fraser Valley of B.C.

We run CKC Hunt Tests and Working Certificate Tests SUCCESSFULLY! Tollers are a rare sight at field events here in B.C. This is not surprising since there are only a couple of B.C. breeders who compete in the field with their dogs. I do everything I can to assist toller owners interested in working their pups because of this.

While tollers are great companions and the right pup, from the right breeding has the potential to succeed in numerous dog sports, they are a working retriever first and foremost.

LET'S KEEP THE DUCK IN THE DUCK TOLLER!
